NaPoWriMo 2020 Day 14: Penelope

It little profits that an idle queen

Match’d with an aged hubby, I meet and dole

Unequal laws to savage twins,

That hoard pacifiers

Eat not or sleep

And know not me. I cannot rest from travel

I will drink life to the lees

Follow knowledge like a sinking star

Strive, seek, find and not yield.

Here’s the prompt. This was my take on Tennyson’s Ulysses. Here’s another poem I wrote about myself as Draupadi.
